“It Could Pass.”

Sitting on the train today, coming home. Felt bored and antsy, so I took out my notebook and started drawing the older gentleman in front of me. Eventually, after a few minutes, I got his attention and asked him what he thought of the picture. He looked at it for a moment, then said flippantly, “It could pass.”

For some reason, that made me so much happier than if he would have complimented me on it. Makes the experience that much more real.
