A wonderful woman and spiritual leader came to Chicago to speak tonight. I don’t know how to describe her, or how to put into words the emotions she inspired within all of us. We, the chattering audience, were kept silent for an hour, stunned by her charisma and love for us, as Jews and human beings and feeling people. Writing anything about her just seems silly, but I did, and it’s short. But I wanted to show my appreciation somehow, to some degree.
Hearing you speak is like staring into the sun.
Your magnetism is subtle and overwhelming
and welcomed.
Beautiful woman, unbelievable soul,
Thank you for inspiring us. For pouring out your heart and allowing us
to cry and laugh.
