Here We Go Again!

I don’t like the term
Man plans and God laughs
It implies a vindictive and
Vengeful God
Who finds amusement in our confusion
Who smirks when we trip.
I vote we change it to
Man plans and God winces
“No, don’t go that way, it won’t work”
But still we do. We plan.
He doesn’t laugh, he picks us back
Up
Sighs and
Let’s us plan again.
Humans, eh?
